On the basis of federal and cantonal guidelines, the Zermatt Music Festival & Academy has put in place the following measures to ensure optimal safety of its audience members, musicians and staff.

  • We ask you not to attend the events if you are feeling unwell.
  • We ask you to provide your contact details to ensure traceability.
  • All venues will be disinfected prior to every concert.
  • The entry and exit of the audience will be staggered.
  • Masks will be obligatory from the moment you enter to the moment you have exited the venue.*
  • Disinfectant hand gel will be available at all concerts.
  •  There will be no intervals.


St. Mauritius-Pfarrkirche
There are currently a maximum of 240 places on sale (half the normal capacity).  In view of the evolving situation we reserve the right to adapt the seating plan.

Matterhorn Museum
One seat will be left empty between individuals or groups of people.

Heinz Julen Loft
Twenty unnumbered seats are available. The other forty places are standing places. Seats will be allocated on the evening itself on a first-come, first-served basis. *We recommend that you wear a mask at the events at Heinz Julen Loft.

Backstage Hotel Vernissage
100 seats are available. *We recommend that you wear a mask at the events at Backstage Hotel Vernissage.
