Where do you study?
Amsterdam Conservatoire What do you like to do when you are not playing music? I love to make art and have recently started painting with oil paints.
At what age did you start playing your instrument?
At six, I started on the violin and at 12 on the viola.
What was the most exciting concert you ever performed?
I played the Mendelssohn Octet in Wigmore Hall with a group of very close friends.
What is your favourite piece of classical music?
The answer changes all the time, but one I constantly listen to is the Schubert „Fantasie“.
How did the last two Corona years influence your musical development?
I have found that they have made me a more humble musician. The time in isolation also gave me the idea to start a new group in London called the Seida Ensemble.
Which famous person would you like to have dinner with (from the past or the present)?
Virginia Woolf. She has such an interesting and observant perspective of life, and I’d like to experience that in person.
