What do you like to do when you are not playing music?

Hiking with friends and travelling.

At what age did you start playing your instrument?

I held the horn for the first time when I was 14 years old, but didn’t quite yet make it my instrument.

What was the most exciting concert you ever performed?

I remember a Benefit concert in Konzerthaus Berlin in 2015, where we played a piano duet for four hands. The atmosphere was wonderful!

What was the most awkward moment in your career?

When I was five years old – my first piano recital – I got quite a big applause which scared me so much that I ran offstage and hid myself.

What is your favourite piece of classical music?

There is so much beautiful music, e.g. Mahler’s Fifth Symphony belongs among my favourite works.

How did the last two Corona years influence your musical development?

There was a huge lack of making music and performing together. However, I never played the horn as much on the garden fence and in the open field as I did during Corona times.
