What do you like to do when you are not playing music?

Watching Harry Potter

At what age did you start playing your instrument?

When I was 2 and a half years old.

What was the most exciting concert you ever performed?

Touring with Maestro Yutaka Sado as a soloist and concertmaster.

What was the most awkward moment in your career?

Playing Bach’s solo Violin Sonata No. 3 during a live-streamed concert, with no “real” audience but in front of 4 cameras!

What is your favourite piece of classical music?

The Chaconne from J.S. Bach’s the solo Violin Partita No. 2.

How did the last two Corona years influence your musical development?

They made me realise how fortunate we are, and made me really miss the concert stage, performing for warm audiences.

Which famous person would you like to have dinner with (from the past or the present)?

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
