When I was 9 years old.
What was the most exciting concert you ever performed?
Salzburger Festspiele with GMJO and Teodor Currentzis.
What was the most awkward moment in your career?
It was on the China Tour with an orchestra. We played many concerts, and during the interemission of one of them, my mouthpiece fell on the floor and broke into two pieces. Fortunately, one oboist had glue, which was kind of a temporary solution for the next half of the concert. While I was repairing my mouthpiece, the entire orchestra was already entering the stage, without my knowledge of it. After
waiting 1-2 minutes, I finally awkwardly got on stage.
What is your favourite piece of classical music?
F. Schubert: Octet in F major D 803
How did the last two Corona years influence your musical development?
For me it was a very valuable time. I could (without any deadlines due) solve some of my technical problems and improve my level of playing.

Nina Simone
